Studio workflow checklist

  1. 1 Consultation and suitability check

We review your plan and expectations. For medical questions or existing concerns, we recommend discussing them with a qualified medical professional. Permanent makeup/micropigmentation is a cosmetic body art service, not a medical treatment.

  2. 2 Clean tools, clean surfaces, fresh gloves

Sterile or single-use items are used where appropriate. Work surfaces are disinfected before and between clients. Gloves are changed to keep the process hygienic from start to finish.

  3. 3 Aftercare guidance, before you leave

You get scannable do and don’t aftercare instructions tailored to your placement. Healing takes time, and results vary by individual. Follow the guidance closely for the best possible outcome.

  4. 4 Clear check-ins and realistic expectations

If you’re unsure about how something should look during healing, we’ll help you interpret the normal stages of recovery. We do not diagnose medical conditions.

Day 0(first 24 hours)
  • Do: Keep the area clean. Gently rinse with the aftercare instructions you received, then pat dry with clean, non-lint material.
  • Don’t: Pick scabs, rub, or apply makeup to the treated area.
Days 1–3(early healing)
  • Do: Follow your product schedule. Use only the recommended amount and technique.
  • Don’t: Soak in water, use steam, go to pools, or swim. Avoid saunas.
Days 4–7(drying and shedding)
  • Do: Let flakes shed naturally. Continue gentle cleansing and scheduled care.
  • Don’t: Exfoliate, use acids/retinoids near the area, or press/scrub the skin.
Days 8–14(settling)
  • Do: Maintain hygiene and protect from direct sun. Keep the skin calm and moisturized only as instructed.
  • Don’t: Plan tanning, heavy workouts that cause excess friction, or new skincare routines right away.
Weeks 3–6(final tone settles)
  • Do: Continue to protect from sun and follow any studio check-in guidance.
  • Don’t: Assume color is final before the full healing window completes.
